Holy Tuesday was the procession of the Antigua y Pontificia Cofradía de Nuestra Señora del Rosario y Jesús Orando en el Huerto. This procession was entirely in silence. The municipal band followed the Virgin Mary and played at the end of the parade, but the majority of the procession was very somber.
Once rain started to fall, the marchers made a quicker progression to finish the parade at San Miguel. The ominous weather makes for uncertain procession. The Cofradias won’t march if it’s raining. Instead the crowd gathers in the churches to see the floats.
